Slim Larsen Design
For over thirty years Slim has crafted fine furniture and custom interiors for some of the area’s finest homes. Descending from a long line of Danish designers, Slim combines passion, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional design that has lead to trusted relationships with his clients, architects and builders. A driven perfectionist, Slim has devoted countless hours to master his craft.
Heavily influenced by the natural beauty of wood, and with an appreciation of sculptural forms, Slim continues to explore balance, curves and contrasts in his work. From sculptural exterior gates, to masterfully designed kitchens, bathrooms and cabinets, Slim offers each client something unique and designed specially to complement and enhance the integrity of their home.
Beginning his career in Seattle, WA, Slim was privileged to work for nationally recognized furniture designer, Joel Shepard. He went on to forge his own designs, showing his work at The Bellevue Museum, The Seattle Woodworkers Guild, and The Pacific Northwest Arts & Crafts Shows. At the young age of twenty, and a newcomer to furniture exhibition, Slim was awarded the top honor in the furniture category at the 1980 Pacific Northwest Arts & Crafts Show. Relocating many years ago to the North Shore of Boston, he continues to design, build, and exhibit furniture, sculpture, and commissioned woodwork.
